Kristen Foxen has secured her second consecutive win in the $10,100 PokerGO Tour (PGT) Kickoff Series finale. The tournament, which concluded on Saturday, saw Foxen take home a prize money of $197,625.

Kristen Foxen grabbed headlines with her victory in the $10,100 buy-in PokerGO Tour (PGT) Kickoff Series finale. The American pro beat Joao Simao in heads-up for a payday of $197,625.

Final Table Showdown

The final table featured an impressive line-up of high-stakes players, including Jeremy Ausmus and Andrew Moreno. The action at the final table was intense, with the Women in Poker Hall of Fame 2024 inductee starting Day 2 at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas with a commanding chip lead of more than double her nearest rival.

Key Eliminations

Neil Warren was the first to exit the final table, finishing in seventh place and earning $37,200. Nick Seward followed, claiming sixth place and $46,500. At this point, Foxen had amassed approximately 60% of the chips in play, with only five players remaining.

Jeremy Ausmus, the newly crowned PGT Player of the Year 2024, was eliminated in fourth place, taking home $83,700. His exit came after a crucial hand against Foxen, where he was left with less than half a big blind.

Heads-up

The tournament culminated in a heads-up battle between Foxen and Simao. In an interesting turn of events, the two players agreed to an even split of the remaining prize pool, with each receiving $197,625.
Foxen's Win

This victory further cements Foxen's status as one of poker's elite players. With over $9 million in live tournament cashes, she now ranks second among female players in all-time earnings, trailing only Vanessa Selbst, who has accumulated $11.9 million.

Foxen's recent achievements include a 13th place finish in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.

PokerGO Tour Kickoff Series Conclusion

The PokerGO Tour's opening five-event series has now concluded, with five different players claiming titles. Alongside Foxen, the winners include Andrew Lichtenberger, CoinPoker ambassador Patrick Leonard, Masato Yokosawa, and Spencer Champlin.

Foxen's back-to-back victories in this event only make her one of the pros to look out for in 2025. With WSOP 2025 announced it would be interesting to see how Foxen takes her year forward.
